An enchantment to rebuild a preferred Loch Leven birdwatching spot destroyed by hearth has raised nearly £30,000.
NatureScot’s Mill Cover on the sting of Kinross was gutted by the blaze, which was believed to have been began intentionally, in February.
The cash was raised on crowdfunding web site MyParkScotland.
The unique conceal, in-built 2011, price about £35,000, and NatureScot has dedicated to make up any monetary shortfall to rebuild it.
The Mill conceal had gained awards for its structure and design.
NatureScot mentioned the charred stays of the conceal had been eliminated in early March, and the location fenced off for public security.
The foundations survived the hearth and can assist the alternative construction.
NatureScot’s reserve supervisor Neil Mitchell mentioned the response from the local people and normal public to the fundraising enchantment had been “wonderful.”
He mentioned: “Given this chicken watching web site’s recognition and improbable loch aspect location close to Kinross, we’re decided to interchange the conceal as quickly as attainable.”
