The central authorities on Saturday stated that the fowl flu has been confirmed in 9 states for poultry birds. These states embody Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. The outbreaks of avian influenza has been recognized in 12 States for crow or migratory or wild birds, the ministry stated. These states are Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
The crow and pigeon samples submitted from Rudraprayag, Lansdowne Forest Vary and Paudi Forest Vary of Uttarakhand have been discovered unfavorable for avian influenza, knowledgeable ministry of fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying. These farmers whose poultry birds, eggs and poultry feed are culled or disposed of by the State as per the motion plan, will obtain compensation from the federal government, the ministry stated. “The Division of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD), Authorities of India offers funds to states/UTs on a 50:50 sharing foundation beneath ASCAD element of its LH & DC Scheme, the ministry added.
All states have been reporting to the Division every day concerning the management measures adopted by them based mostly on the revised motion plan for prevention, management and containment of avian influenza 2021, the ministry stated.
