AS MANY as 17,000 poultry birds will likely be culled after avian flu traces have been detected at a 35-year-old farm in Uchhal city of Tapi district, situated adjoining to Maharashtra’s Navapur taluka that had witnessed a spurt in H5N1 instances just a few days in the past.

On the remaining 4 poultry farms, the assessments report had come unfavourable for H5N1 flu.”
Kulkarni stated he had met the poultry farm affiliation representatives and located that most birds and eggs from poultry farms within the taluka have been provided to totally different components of Gujarat.
