A motorcyclist has died after a fowl hit his helmet, inflicting him to crash, police have stated.
William Jackson, often known as Billy, collided with the animal after he overtook two automobiles on Mortimer Highway, Sheffield on 30 March.
The 73-year-old’s bike then left the highway, leaving him in a ditch the place he was pronounced useless a short while later.
His household stated he was “a beloved husband, devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and good friend”.
The crash occurred close to Bradfield Dale at about 12:30 BST, South Yorkshire Police stated.

Mr Jackson’s blue Yamaha Tracer bike was present in a subject following the crash.
Paying tribute, Mr Jackson’s household added: “He lived life to the total and leaves us far too quickly. With blissful and fond recollections he will probably be really missed.”
An attraction for anybody who witnessed the crash has been issued by South Yorkshire Police.
