Alappuzha: A uncommon migratory fowl has been present in Changarampadam in Cherthala right here. The pinkish white fowl has been recognized as a Lesser Flamingo.

Ratheesh Rajan, a police officer, who can also be a birdwatcher, seen the fowl in Changarampadam the opposite day. The fowl is often present in North Asian area and is never present in Kerala, Ratheesh mentioned.

When the image of the fowl was despatched to birdwatchers, they recognized it to be Lesser Flamingo. They added that the fowl had visited Ancharakandy in Kannur final yr.
